I bought the 12 pack and keep it in my locker at work- Make a pot of rice, and you will feel like your at an indian resturant. I'm no expert on indian food, but I like this and with the spicy zip it is much better than a balony sandwich.

I love Indian food but am pretty wimpy when it comes to spice/"heat" level. This palak paneer is unfortunately too spicy for me. When I mixed it with a LOT of rice, it was tolerable, and the flavor is quite good aside from the heat. Someone with a better tolerance for spiciness than me would probably scoff and say "what are you talking about, this isn't spicy at all."I did find it a bit salty as well, but I put salt in my rice cooking water so that may have been a factor. It had a good amount of paneer and the paneer was just how I like it -- not too soft, not too firm.Bottom line, if you are a not "spice wimp" like me, you will probably like this one. But I won't be buying it again.

Took a chance on this because I love Indian food, but no one at work shares my sentiments, so heading to an Indian restaurant for lunch is out. Delicious! It is listed as "mild" but i found it to be more medium - still, it wasn't too much for this "spice wuss." Would be great with rice, but not needed - it was very filling on its own. Definitely regretted forgetting a piece of naan to go with though...oh well, will have to buy/eat again!
