I use the pina colada Jay Robb as my primary whey protein shake base. I really like it. I've tried the Vanilla and the Chocolate, and both of those are...well..not so good, tastewise. The stats are great--I love the profile on his lower-carb, lower-calorie, healthy-cow whey.But for folks sensitive to the weirdness of stevia--these are strong. I find an odd soapy aftertaste to both Vanilla and Chocolate. Unpleasant. Even the gal in the GNC where I bought the chocolate looked at me with that skeptical look. "Did you really like this?" Well, now I know why. hahahaI'll continue to buy the pina colada, which when mixed with coconut milk and water makes a lovely protein version of virgin pina colada. Iced up. Nice.And I will tolerate the chocolate until it runs out (ditto vanilla), but don't plan to repurchase.Beware if you hate stevia. It's evident.

I love this product; it is part of my daily routine. It makes a great snack too. Results are best if you use a mixer but a shaker cup will do. You can use water or milk. I find by adding unsweetened almond milk the hunger stays away longer than just using water. I use Blue Diamond but I am sure there are others brands out there that will work. If you decide to use unsweetened almond milk you are adding between 40-45 calories.Below I have listed the ways I make my shakesChocolate Whey:In a 20 oz. cup add15 oz. very cold water5 oz. of Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Unsweetened Chocolate Almond Milk (if you want a milder chocolate taste use Almond Breeze original or vanilla.)1 scoop of Jay Robb Chocolate Whey2 tablespoons of Hershey's Cocoa (if you choose the dark cocoa watch the sodium)Blend with a mixer. Drink right away or place in the freezer for about 15 minute. It is just the best. Low Calorie, no sugar and tastes great.I have also modified this for Jay Robb's Strawberry and Tropical Dreamsicle. I am not a purist so adding a little Mi0 water enhancer to a shake is OK with me. It has no sugar or calories but it does have suralose and acesulfame as sweeteners so be aware to use just a little flavoring.For Strawberry Whey:5 oz. of original Almond Breeze, 1 scoop of Strawberry Whey, 15 oz. of cold water and 1 squirt of Strawberry Watermelon Mi0 liquid water enhancer.For Tropical Dreamsicle Whey:5 oz. of original Almond Breeze, 1 scoop of Tropical Dreamsicle Whey, 15 oz. of cold water and 1 squirt of Orange Tangerine Mi0 liquid water enhancer.Enjoy :-)

A lot of protein powders have a very chalky taste to them. I was so relieved [and surprised] to find that Jay Robb's did not-no matter what flavor. May favorite recipe with this powder is: 1.5 scoops of this protien powder + 2 tbsp of Powdered Peanut Butter - 85% Less Fat and Calories - 16 Oz (also sold on Amazon)+ 4 oz of water + 4oz of organic milk = AWESOMENESS! Can add banana as well to make a smoothie. Highly recommend all of JayRobb's products! Wish this was offered via Sub&Save! Also blends perfectly in the Classic Mini 20oz Blender Bottle Green shake cups (also sold on Amazon)
