The thymus is a small gland located behind the upper chest area, which is important in proper immune function. This gland peaks in size at puberty, then begins steady involution (shrinkage), eventually becoming incapable of producing certain proteins the immune system needs. All white blood cells (WBCs) originate in the bone marrow. Most WBCs are biologically active as soon as they are released from the marrow, but WBCs called T cells are not. Once released from the bone marrow, T cells need to travel to the thymus gland to receive proteins manufactured by that gland for activation. This is why they are called T cells T stands for thymus.The T4 (CD4) Helper cell is the manager of the immune system. It is one kind of WBC that needs a thymic protein to be activated. I've done so much research on maintaining health. This stuff really works. I've been around a few sick people and as long as I take this I dont catch their colds. I highly recommend this product.

After taking ProBoost, my cold did not progress any worse and I fully recovered over the next few days. My Doctor takes it whenever she feels the slightest of a cold coming on.

I learned about proboost from my fibromyalgia doctor. She prescribed it to boost my flagging immune system. It works, and I haven't noticed any side effects from it. Now I take it whenever I have a virus that I can't shake. It always helps to dry secretions and shake an infection. Its a powder you take under the tongue, because stomach acids destroy it. It has a pleasant, sweetish taste, and its not a problem to take it that way, except that you can't talk while you've got it in your mouth. The only negative I have is the expense. I rate it at 4 star for the expense, not for the product itself, which is great. Try it!
