This a decent, utilitarian bench at a reasonable price. This kind of chair is essential for persons who have difficulty going from bathroom to bath/shower and back.There's nothing that specifically sets this product apart, but it is all-around good. Construction is solid, and very secure-feeling. The suction cups don't always seem to suck, but they do create a non-slip footing, which is essential for the balance-challenged.Assembly is relatively straightforward, but this is no tool-free setup. So make sure you have some basic tools at hand -- or find someone who does. The ability to move the handle and backrest to the opposite side is a nice added feature.Recommended for anyone looking for a basic transfer chair.

I would love to have the fancier bench, but this was in my budget and does the job well. It took my son less than 30 minutes to build it and install it. I am able to slide in and out of the shower easily. The week before, I fell getting out of the tub so it was necessary. I have MS and lymphedema, and this makes keeping my independence in the shower possible. I have a standard tub and shower, so we added a second curtain that overlaps the first in order to keep the water in the tub when using the bench.

The transfer Bath Bench is very sturdy and withhandle configurable on either side is a plus.It helps my 89 year old mother move in and out of thetub with confidence and safety.Good product and great design . The product camemostly assembled which made it very simple to put it together.No tools required.Highly recommend it.
