This product is the best stain remover I've found. I have a cat who throws up hairballs and the stain left behind is tough to remove. SPOT SHOT seems to dissolve the stain effectively. I spray it on the stain, leave it a minute, then rub the surface lightly with a clean paper towel. After that, I put the paper towel over the stain and press on it with my foot until all the product is soaked into the towel. Sometimes I have to repeat the process. It does leave behind a chemical smell that lingers for a while. It has never disappointed.

I'm a huge klutz and drink red wine. So I have problems.I first stumbled across Spot Shot at my local Costco in bulk fashion, and thought "why not". Now I'm a Spot-Shot evangelist, and I'm not kidding. I've loved Oxy-clean for years and was truly amazed at how well that stuff worked, but Oxy Clean leaves behind its own residue, and takes some time to work. Yes, Oxy Clean is miraculous, but Spot Shot takes Oxy clean to a whole new level.The downside is this stuff is relatively expensive. These cans run out pretty quickly and you're very sad when they do because it's usually in the middle of a spill and you wish you had another can.Just to tell you how well this stuff works, my friend who has a nice big boat with white carpet who throws parties with wine is now a believer. And not just a believer, but an evangelist like me. He will actually deliberately spill his wine on the carpet just so he can bust out a can of this to show off how well it works. It goes like this - someone will spill a little bit of (whatever/red wine) on the carpet and freak out and the usual "get some soda water" or "get some salt" or whatever their usual home remedy. My friend will then calm everyone down, reassuring them it's ok, and reappear with Spot Shot. Within 30-60 seconds of a rub down with the Spot Shot, the stain is GONE... Then the word spreads that there's this miracle stain remover and then, when people are really curious, he'll deliberately spill his red wine on the carpet. Everyone cringes, but then 60 seconds later it's completely gone.It really is that good.So I bought a case of this stuff. It's a lot cheaper in bulk.The "Professional Grade" stuff doesn't seem to be any different than the non-pro grade. It just seems to be that the "pro" grade stuff is just a larger can.

This product got out a stain which 4 other stain removers did not touch !.It is the best for removing pet related stains (or even wine). It costs a bit, but it is really worth it !!
