The Sport Belt (Neoprene Lumbo-Sacral Support) provides excellent support, warmth and comfort to the abdominal and lumbo-sacral areas. Neoprene material helps retain body heat, increases circulation and provides all-way stretch and compression. Finished edges for look and durability. Six spring metal stays provide increased stability and support to the lower back. Two side pulls are designed for better fitting and tension adjustment. Breathable Neoprene (Airprene) and Terry cotton lining helps minimize sweating and reduces allergic skin reactions. Recommended for: Those who suffer from osteochondrosis, lumbago or have ever experienced lower back pain. Those who have undergone surgery on the lower section of the spine. Heavy lifting. I am a big guy and a carpet cleaner. I need a sturdy Lumbar Support Belt.This is the best quality Lumbar Support Belt I have found.Getting to understand the proper proceedure to put the belt on, however, has taken a lot of work on my behalf.I ordered a XXL belt which is supposed to be for sizes up to 50". The belt comes and measures no more than 46" long. I'm sure there must be some mistake. After much work, returning two belts to AMAZON(!) and contacting the company both on the phone and email I would like to report the final result to you.Other belts can be put on just by wrapping the belt around you and then tightening the velcro straps. Not so with this belt.THE SECRET IS THAT THE BELT CAN NOT BE PUT ON WITHOUT COMPLETELY DISENGAGING THE VELCRO STRAPS. Once this is done, the belt will stretch to the maximum stated length, THEN attach the velcro straps to tighten as needed.One other piece of advice: Don't contact the maker of this product! They don't want to hear from you and are not equipped to answer questions for the final consumer of their own products! They have a 'customer service' area on their website. This, I was told, is for their "resellers", not you! Sorry. If you do contact them they wont answer your questions, like they didn't answer mine.

i want to know about the sizes. If i have 34 waist what size should i get for the back suppport. and also does this help when lifting heavy things. i dont know where to ask.
