I discovered the Light Stim LED acne light at school where I am training to be an esthetician. I have suffered from mild to moderate acne throughout my twenties (almost 10 years), and I can't believe how well this little light works. This keeps my acne at bay and calms my skin down within 24 hours of using it. It's amazing! I use it at night, and in the morning, there is a visible difference in my skin (no new breakouts and my current breakouts look better). It's perfect for anyone experiencing breakouts including inflammed acne and sensitive skin because it's non-invasive. (I have very sensitive, reactive skin that is oily and prone to breakouts so I have to be very careful with what I put on my face.) The light has a mild warming sensation which feels good. The blue light kills the P. Acne virus under the skin, and the red lights help with healing. After seeing the results from my school's light, I decided to invest in my own. My friend also got one and told me how well it is working for her too. We have both tried almost everything to clear our skin! So i've been using the lightstim for a few days now and I definitely notice that my skin is smoother. I usually have scaly skin and the lightstim has helped that go away already, but I still use lotion everyday. Acne wise I don't have that bad of acne most of the time, but before my period my skin just goes crazy and my cheeks, forehead, chin, anything will break out badly and then it takes forever for it to heal. My skin wasn't badly broken out when I started using the lightstim but I usually get at least one small pimple overnight every night. Since I started using the lightstim, I haven't had ONE new breakout which is soooo awesome! Also, any acne I did have is gone! I've been using it twice a day, in the morning and at night after I wash my face. Mostly I have noticed the smoothness of my skin, it is so much easier to apply makeup and it looks a lot better compared to when my skin was dry and scaly. I would definitely recommend buying the lightstim since I have only had it for a few days and I am already seeing results. I can't wait to see what two weeks will look like. If the lightstim can keep my face clear through my period then it definitely will be a miracle product! I will post again after I have been using it for a while to tell about the progress. Also, anyone who is worried about the heat should not. It is warm and soothing to the skin. I'll just place it to my face while i'm watching tv or in my bed, it's super easy and just takes 5 minutes in each problem area. As I said, at this point I would definitely recommend the lightstim but I will repost after another week or two with my results.
