Great product. Do an search engine for health benefits. My quest is to fight the decline of "muscle wasting" as we age and this product(it's key protein metabolite) will put you on the positive side of "protein turnover". Check out med study at Iowa State. Combine this product with n-3 and battle the muscle loss. My best price, currently is Walgreen's - Order 16 btls at $6.99 and receive free shipping (over $25.00)

Ensure drinks have their benefits for those who have trouble consuming enough nutrients to keep a healthy diet. However, research into hydroxymethylbutyrate (HMB) is preliminary and have not been conclusive as of now. HMB is a by-product created when the body metabolizes the amino acid leucide. Some small short-term studies have suggested that supplements of HMB might help adults gain more lean muscle mass from strength training, particularly if they are fit and exercise regularly. But overall the results of the studies are conflicting.Ensure Muscle Health 8 oz bottle contains 250 calories and 22 grams of sugar, you need to drink two of them a day to get 3 grams of HMB used in the studies. That means a healthy person would need to work off extra 500 calories a day to avoid weight gain, as a weight gain would negate any possible benefit of increased muscle (if HMB in fact works).If you drink Ensure to gain weight this product works fine, benefits for people who do not need to gain weight are not definitive.

I've given the product 5 stars because I love this product, but I'm hoping the description will be fixed soon so I can understand how many bottles I would be getting if I ordered. It states the list price is roughly $128, reduced to roughly $44. With a list price of $128, that suggests they are selling 16 4-packs (or 64 bottles) for $44. But many reviews suggest the price is for 16 bottles, much higher than everyone else is selling them. So I'm confused and won't be purchasing from this vendor until the description is clarified or the price is corrected.
