I love love love CORE meals for when I'm in the mountains! Backpacking, hiking, skiing, cycling...you name it. They stay fresh and soft and I feel like I'm actually fueling my body with the stuff it needs instead of with syrups and fabricated ingredients and junk found in all those other cardboard tasting (and super hard) bars. I just grab them, throw them in my ski jacket or backpack, and either eat a whole one for a meal (or sometimes I make a few snacks out of one), drink a glass or two or water and BAM I am GOOD TO GO! I also use them for busy mornings when I'm flying around like a crazy person :-) They are also awesome post-workout recovery food after a long run or gym session. Side note: I am allergic to cashews and walnuts so I stick to the almond raisin!
